OUTSTANDING COOPERATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

 

Every year, the Kona SWCD chooses several cooperators who have shown exceptional land stewardship to receive the Outstanding Cooperator of the Year award.  Up to three awards are given each year and may be in any of the following categories: Farming, Ranching, or Forestry.

 

Cooperators are chosen based on the completion of their conservation plan, the content of their work, and their commitment to practicing conservation on their lands.
